Ordering
What does Picalu make?
Personalised gifts that light up: LED photo stands, LED photo frames, 4D illuminated LED photo frames, acrylic LED keychains and more. Most can carry your photo, names, a message, a logo, a QR code or a music code, depending on the product.
How do I order?
Choose a product on our website, upload your photo or pick a ready design, add your message and font, then check out and pay with M-Pesa. You can also order by contacting us on WhatsApp.
What kind of photo should I upload?
A clear, bright photo works best — straight from your phone is fine (iPhone photos included). Avoid screenshots and very dark or blurry pictures. Up to 10 MB per photo.
Will I see my design before it's made?
Yes. We send you a design proof on WhatsApp first. We only start making your order once you approve it, and you can ask for changes.
Do you help with designs?
Yes. Our team can create or refine your design with you before production.
What files do you accept for logos or artwork?
High-quality PNG, PDF, AI, SVG or PSD files give the best results.
Can I place a corporate or bulk order?
Absolutely. We handle small and large orders for businesses, events, schools, weddings and branding. Contact us with the product, quantity and your artwork for a quote.
Payment
How do I pay?
With M-Pesa: at checkout we show our Till number (Buy Goods). Pay, then enter the M-Pesa code from your confirmation message. We check every payment before we start. Corporate orders can also be paid by bank transfer — ask us.
Do I pay everything up front?
Orders up to KES 5,000 are paid in full. For bigger orders you can pay 50% first and the balance before collection or delivery — you send the balance's M-Pesa code on your order page.
What if I typed the wrong M-Pesa code?
If we can't confirm your code, we'll tell you why, and you can send the right code on your order page.
Production and delivery
How long does it take?
Most orders are ready within 1–5 working days after you approve the design, depending on the product and quantity. Same-day may be possible for some products — ask us first.
Do you deliver across Kenya?
Yes. You can collect for free or have it delivered:
- Pickup at Twiga Towers — Free · Ready when we tell you
- Nairobi delivery — KES 300 · 1–2 days
- Rest of Kenya (courier) — KES 500 · 1–3 days
How do I follow my order?
After you order, you get a link (by email too) to your order page, where you can see each step. You can also find it on Track your order with your order number and phone.
Returns
Can personalised items be returned?
Because each piece is made just for you, we can't take returns for a change of mind. If something is damaged or not what you approved, we'll put it right — see our refunds & returns policy.
