Terms & conditions

These terms apply when you order from Picalu Creations on picalu.co.ke or through our WhatsApp. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders

Your order is confirmed once we've checked your M-Pesa payment. We may decline an order — for example if a product is unavailable or the content isn't suitable — and if we do, we refund what you paid.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Kenya shillings (KES). Delivery is added at checkout according to where you are.
  • You pay by M-Pesa to our Till (Buy Goods) and give us the M-Pesa code. Orders up to KES 5,000 are paid in full; above that you can pay 50% first and the balance before collection or delivery.
  • Each M-Pesa code can be used for one payment only. We start your order once your payment is confirmed.

Your photos, text and designs

  • You confirm you have the right to use the photos, logos and text you send us, and that they don't break anyone's rights or the law.
  • We won't make items with offensive, hateful or illegal content.
  • Please check the design proof carefully, including names and spellings. Once you approve it, we make the item exactly as approved.
  • Colours on a screen can look slightly different on the finished product, and photo quality depends on the photo you send.

Production and delivery

Most orders are ready within 1–5 working days after you approve the design; bigger or more complex orders may take longer, and we'll tell you. Delivery times are estimates:

  • Pickup at Twiga Towers — Free · Ready when we tell you
  • Nairobi delivery — KES 300 · 1–2 days
  • Rest of Kenya (courier) — KES 500 · 1–3 days

Please collect your order or make sure someone can receive it. If an order isn't collected within 30 days of us telling you it's ready, we may stop holding it.

Refunds and returns

Because items are personalised, returns for a change of mind aren't accepted. If something is damaged, defective or different from what you approved, see our refunds & returns policy.

Our responsibility

We make every item with care. Our responsibility for an order is limited to remaking it or refunding what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Kenyan consumer protection law.

How we handle your information, including your photos, is explained in our privacy policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page when you order applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
