Bare walls make a room feel unfinished. The right piece of wall art changes that instantly: it sets the mood, shows your personality and gives the eye somewhere to rest. Whether you are decorating a new apartment in Nairobi, refreshing a living room or styling an office, this guide will help you choose wall art you will love for years.
01
Start with the feeling you want
Before thinking about sizes and colours, decide how you want the room to feel:
- Bold and powerful: lions, tigers and other big-cat pieces make a confident statement in living rooms and offices.
- Warm and rooted: African art celebrates culture, colour and heritage, and feels at home in Kenyan spaces.
- Calm and modern: abstract pieces bring colour and movement without being busy, ideal for bedrooms and workspaces.
- Inspiring: faith pieces and quotes offer encouragement in homes, offices and places of worship.
02
Our wall art styles
Our Wall Art collection is organised by theme so you can find your style quickly:
- African Art: striking portraits and colourful pieces inspired by African heritage.
- Animals: majestic lions, tigers and peacocks full of colour and detail.
- Abstract: bold colour and form for modern interiors.
- Religious: inspirational faith pieces for homes and offices.
- Customized (Own Pictures): your own photo turned into a wall piece.
We are also adding new themes, including Nature, Cities, Coastlines, Quotes and Movie Themes.

Choosing the right size
Size is the most common mistake with wall art: pieces are often too small for the wall. A few simple rules help:
- Above a sofa or bed, choose a piece (or a group) about two-thirds of the width of the furniture.
- On a large empty wall, one big statement piece usually looks better than several small ones scattered around.
- In small spaces such as hallways and bathrooms, a single medium piece at eye level works well.
Most of our wall art comes in several sizes, and each product shows the prices for each size, starting from about KES 3,500.
04
Where to hang it
Hang art so that its centre is roughly at eye level, about 1.5 metres from the floor. Above furniture, leave a gap of about 20 to 25 cm between the top of the sofa or headboard and the bottom of the frame so the two feel connected.
05
Turn your own photo into wall art
A family portrait, a wedding photo or a picture from a favourite trip can become a centrepiece for your home. Choose a sharp, high-resolution photo, and send the original file rather than a screenshot. The larger the print, the more detail it needs, so we will check your photo and recommend the best size before we make it. Start with our Customized (Own Pictures) range.
06
Wall art as a gift
Wall art makes a generous housewarming, wedding or office-opening gift. If you are unsure of the recipient’s taste, calm abstract and animal pieces suit most homes, while a custom piece with their own photo is the most personal choice of all.
